Statement of Faith
1. The Bible.
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, true, trustworthy, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, ministry, and Christian living.
2. The Trinity
We believe there is one true God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, equal in deity, yet distinct in person and work.
3. God the Father
We believe God the Father is the sovereign Creator, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. He is holy, wise, loving, just, and gracious. He is the author of redemption and works all things according to His perfect will.
4. Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and now intercedes for believers.
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and active in the world today. He inspired Scripture, convicts of sin, gives new life, indwells believers, sanctifies them, and empowers them to live for Christ and proclaim the gospel.
6. Humanity
We believe that God created human beings, male and female, in His image. Therefore, every person has dignity, value, and purpose, and human life should be protected from conception to natural death. We affirm that because of Adam’s sin, all people are born with a sinful nature, separated from God, and in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.
7. Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Each person must repent of sin and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord. Those who believe are forgiven, declared righteous, born again, and given eternal life.
8. The Church
We believe the church is the body and bride of Christ, made up of all true believers. The local church gathers to worship, preach the Word, make disciples, observe baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and proclaim the gospel to the world.
9. Marriage and Family
We believe that God has ordained marriage as the uniting of one man and one woman in a covenant commitment for a lifetime. We believe that sexual intimacy is to occur only within the context of such a marriage. We affirm that God created each person in His image as male and female, and that these two distinct, complementary genders reflect the image and nature of God.
10. Evangelism and Missions
We believe that Jesus Christ has commanded His church to make disciples of all nations. Because the gospel is the only hope for salvation, we are committed to proclaiming Christ, serving others in His name, strengthening the local church, and partnering with believers around the world TIL ALL HEAR the good news of Jesus.
11. The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will personally and victoriously return. The saved will live forever with God, and those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from Him. Christ will reign, and God’s people will enjoy eternal fellowship with Him.
12. TIL ALL HEAR Commitment to Ministry
TIL ALL HEAR exists to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving trusted global partners to address spiritual and physical needs, encouraging weary warriors, and discipling the next generation to live their lives on mission. We desire to remain faithful to God’s Word, dependent on the Holy Spirit, committed to the local church, and focused on making Christ known TIL ALL HEAR.
